USING MARIJUANA IS A VICTIMLESS “CRIME”

Katy Drago is a hard working woman who needs your help. She is just like you and me. A very likable person who is always there to help a friend or do the right thing. Someone who cares about other people.

When Katy barely turned 21 her grandmother came to live with her, because otherwise it would have been a nursing home. While working full time she also would help the hospice nurses care for her grandmother. 

This world is a demanding place, especially when you have so much on your plate. Smoking marijuana is a good alternative for relaxation when you look at all the other options out there.

Katy was in Arizona when she was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana. That state isn’t very tolerant of marijuana, so in jail she sits. In all her 27 years of life the worst thing on her police record is a speeding ticket. Why is so much time and money spent on putting good people in jail??? Our tax dollars at work keeping the wrong people in jail.

Of course this ridiculous bail that has been set at $85,000 can never be met. The best possible course of action is a great attorney. Nothing happens without good representation. 

Times are tough for everyone right now and money is tighter than ever. Katy’s family, and love ones beg and plead with you to donate just $5 or whatever you can. Every dollar makes a difference. No attorney will lift a finger to help without a $6,500 retainer. Think about it, we all spend $5 without a second thought. On fast food, coffee, munchies, beer, pot the list goes on and on. From my own experience I can say nothing feels better than helping others when you expect nothing in return. What a wonderful feeling for such a small cost to you.

Katy is just like so many of us, a good person, with a generous heart who was arrested for something that most of us use to get through our daily lives. This isn’t a criminal, this is a hard working, generous young woman.

With your help we can change things! A donation of any kind really can help.

Let’s keep the innocent out of jail I know time is short, but if we can make $6,500 by Thursday night, we can change a life! Let’s do this guys!
